Griffon Associates, Inc.

Griffon is WBP’s construction management and general contracting firm. Griffon specializes in residential construction of multi-family and single-family communities. We are experienced in a broad range of housing types and building conditions and are responsible for construction of all of WBP’s developments. From apartments in Saratoga County, NY to an adaptive reuse of a former Hilton Hotel in St. Thomas, Griffon has a very broad breadth of knowledge and experience that enable us to manage complex construction projects. Griffon has substantial bonding capacity which has been utilized on many developments. Griffon employs approximately 20 seasoned professionals with a diverse construction background. From conceptual design to value engineering to employment of high-performance construction techniques, our talented team works with WBP to build better communities.

WB Residential

WB Residential is the management arm of Wilder Balter Partners. WBP owns, and WB Residential manages, 32 properties with more than 3,200 apartments. WB Residential also manages all of WBP’s new townhouse and condominium communities. With a team of 80 professionals, WB Residential actively engages with our residents to ensure their satisfaction in our communities. In addition to managing the real estate on each property, WB Residential actively works with our residents to improve their experience. This has resulted in most of our properties having full time maintenance staff, an on-site office and a broad array of amenities. Many of our properties are either located near public transportation or have on-site buses or van service available to our residents.

Dear Donna, Greetings from a delighted resident of Glassbury Court at Hunterbrook (Cortlandt Manor, NY)! My wife, Sheila, and I moved into the new development in April of last year and we have never been happier. We have ample space for all of our furniture (including a king-size bed in each of the two bedrooms), lots of wall space for my beloved art work, lots of storage, and plenty of natural sunlight. The Great Room has soaring ceilings an a gas fireplace. The generously-sized kitchen is equipped with excellent appliances and cabinetry and offers additional light from three large windows. We have turned the loft area into a comfortable home office with all the amenities. The two-car (heated) garage that is a part of every unit in the development has enough space for two vehicles and plenty of storage. Our utility room is tiled, painted, and well-lit and the heating and cooling components are of the highest caliber. Finally, our windows afford lovely views of the surrounding landscape. Lewisboro Commons is a proposed 42-unit family rental community located in the Town of Lewisboro, Westchester County, New York. The development will be ready to commence construction in the summer of 2019. Funding sources will be from Westchester County, NYS Homes and Community Renewal, and NYSERDA. The property will provide affordable one, two and three bedroom rental apartment homes with an onsite Clubroom and adjacent walking trails.

14 LeCount Place – New Rochelle, New York

380 Unit Apartment Complex

14 LeCount Place is a proposed 379-unit family rental community located in the City of New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York. 14 LeCount Place will be a 27-story structure of which 75% will be market rate rental apartment homes and 25% affordable rental apartment homes. This property includes ground-floor retail facilities and extensive amenities, including an outdoor pool offering views of New York City. In partnership with L+M Development Partners, construction is expected to commence in the summer of 2019.

Hillcrest Commons Phase 2 – Carmel, New York

74 Unit Apartment Complex

Hillcrest Commons is the second phase of a senior affordable rental community located in the Town of Carmel, Putnam County, NY. Hillcrest Commons Phase 2 will complement the success of the initial 76 units completed in 2012 to serve the continuing demand for affordable senior apartment home options in the area. Financing is provided through NYS Homes and Community Renewal, and NYSERDA. With all approvals in place, construction has commenced late 2018.

645 Main Street Apartments is a proposed 82-unit affordable multifamily residential community located in Peekskill, Westchester County, New York. The development will serve households with income levels ranging from 40-80% Area Median Income and will be financed through NYS Housing Finance Agency and Westchester County.
