WB Residential Communities Inc. (WBRES) is the property management affiliate of Wilder Balter Partners. Our team oversees 32 properties with more than 3,200 apartments located in New York, Connecticut and the US Virgin Islands.
WBRES manages a variety of property types, including affordable multi-family and senior housing and luxury communities. Our dedicated on-site management staff runs properties efficiently and profitably, and most importantly, they provide quality service to our residents.
Gary E. Friedland
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Friedland has more than 20 years of experience in property management, development and affordable housing. Prior to joining WB Residential Communities, Inc., he was executive vice president of a property management company that specialized in affordable and government-assisted housing. Before entering the private sector, Mr. Friedland served as Assistant Commissioner of the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal for ten years. He has a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from Queens College of the City University of New York.
Ms. Reid has managed an extensive portfolio of properties at Wilder Balter for 27 years. She has a comprehensive knowledge of the procedures and regulations of the Farmer’s Home Administration, Housing and Urban Development, and various state housing agencies, and she specializes in Section 42 tax credit compliance procedures. Ms. Reid has served as a compliance trainer, and she is certified by Quadel in housing tax credit compliance and Fair Housing Compliance. She has a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Mercy College.
Carmen Del Pino
Director of Accounting
Ms. Del Pino has more than 25 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, asset management, auditing and internal controls. She joined the Wilder Balter team in 1997, and in 2002 she became Director of Accounting for WB Residential Communities. Ms. Del Pino oversees the budget process for 37 entities within Wilder Balter. She works hand in hand with external auditors to process tax returns and financial statements, and she works closely with New York State regulatory agencies regarding financial matters. Ms. Del Pino was instrumental in our computer conversions, from planning to implementation and support. She earned her degree in accounting from Westchester Business Institute.
