In the fall of 2006, Wilder Balter Partners decided to “go green.” What this means is that every home will be certified as an ENERGY STAR® rated home by the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority and LEED® for Homes certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, both of which guarantee a green home for our homeowners.
Green building is the natural evolution of nearly a century of commitment to environmental protection and the preservation of natural resources by builders and developers nationwide. From land conservation within developments and consensus building techniques during the planning process, to the building products and construction methods utilized, Wilder Balter Partners' treatment of the land and
environment has been a continuing expression of the most careful stewardship.
This commitment to environmental responsibility led to our certification by the U.S. Green Building Council as a designated Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) for Homes builder, making Wilder Balter Partners the first Westchester County builder to achieve this important designation. Our meticulous approach to proper planning, innovative designs and personal attention to every detail represents our pledge to the environment and community.
